Boardwalk Restaurant Cork - About Us

Our goal is to be a firm favourite steakhouse restaurant and bar for both local Cork customers and visitors to our city. We aim to provide freshly prepared prime produce and a welcoming and professional ‘Boardwalk’ team to assure your experience is enjoyable and memorable.

The Boardwalk Bar & Grill is an 8,000 square foot new property tastefully designed with rich wood and leather panelling tinged with traditional liscaner stone. Classic and affluent American style finishes with an Irish touch.

The dream of two leading business figures Neil Prendeville of 96FM and the City Channel together with hotelier John Gately has been realised and achieved when the contemporary glass doors of the "Boardwalk" opened in Autumn 2008.

Both gentlemen have a passion for food, the hospitality industry and all the finer touches that accompany it. These two key Cork personalities and forces have united to create a niche restaurant in this vibrant area of the city.
